BLUE MET-L

HIGH-VACUUM BATCH METALLIZER

BLUE MET-L – HIGH-VACUUM BATCH METALLIZER

BLUE MET-L is a batch coating system designed for the high-vacuum aluminizing of components, specifically developed for automotive industry applications.

The machine integrates the main treatment stages, including electrostatic cleaning by glow discharge, polymerisation, pre-heating and thermal aluminium evaporation.

The vertical-axis vacuum chamber consists of one fixed half-chamber and two swinging half-chambers, each equipped with a planetary work-holder system with 6 or 8 positions, allowing simultaneous rotation of the components during the process.

The process is fully managed by a Siemens Simatic S7-1500 PLC and a supervision system with a 15″ touch screen. Operators can manage recipes and production programs, monitor the main process parameters in real time and run different production sequences on each half-chamber.

The cycle can include evacuation, glow discharge, polymerisation, pre-heating, evaporation and air inlet. Individual phases can be combined or repeated according to specific production requirements.

For a standard automotive production cycle, the estimated processing time ranges from 14 to 25 minutes.
